I so enjoyed our chats when I use to visit the salon before I worked there and you were covering reception, you were always so welcoming and friendly. I continued to enjoy our catch ups when we reversed roles and I was then covering reception and you were visiting the salon.
It was alway a pleasure to see you and you always looked so elegant.
Rest in peace, with love and fond memories

The last year has been the most distressing, I hope you never knew that we were unable to visit to express our love to you.
This virus has robbed so many of the comfort and the joy that brings together families, which nothing should destroy.
I hope your memory of me didn’t fade too far away, I know you remembered Skipper his adventures always made your day.
We kept you here too long I’m sure you were glad to go, Dad is waiting for you with a hug and a kiss to blow.
Thank you for your love, your care and dedication, the family that you love will remember you in celebration.
I light a candle for you in a little church I found, it has a blue horizon a touch I know you’d like and I can see a rose for you that is planted is in the ground.
All our love forever Sonya, Barry, Louise And James

I remember one of our last outings with Doreen before she went into the first Nursing Home - she was always known as 'Nana' to me. Graham and I had arranged to take her to see the Snowdrops at Kingston Lacy Gardens. It was a cold but sunny January day when we picked her up from her house and found her already waiting for us, wrapped up in her warm coat, gloves and a lovely fur hat and fur boots. She was looking forward to it.
We had a really enjoyable day walking around the gardens looking at the beautiful display of Snowdrops and other different shrubs and plants, but she was amazed at the size of the huge Wisteria trunk and limbs growing along the side of the old greenhouse. The gardener told us it was about 100 years old, which Nana quipped, with a smile 'I'm nearly that old'! She still had a fun side to her and it was lovely to see. We then went to the cafe to warm up and had a pot of tea and a selection cakes. Nana managed to walk, with Graham's assisting arm, all around the grounds and declined to sit down on any of the benches dotted around the gardens. I think I was more tired than she was at the end of the day!! What a very special day that was and one I will never forget. Much love to you 'Nana'.
